Award Nominations ( Popular ) XIth BBWFF 2024

This year marks a special milestone for Prayasam Visual Basics as we celebrate 11 years of filmmaking, primarily focused on short films. Starting next year, we are excited to expand into full-length feature films, while continuing to produce diverse short films. As always, we will be hosting our annual Film Awards.

The awards are divided into two categories:

  1. Critic’s Award
  2. Popular Choice Award

Critic's Award

For the Critic’s Award, our films will be reviewed by a diverse panel of filmmakers, journalists, social workers, painters, and musicians. After viewing the films, they will determine the winners in the following categories:

  1. Critics’ Choice Best Dialogue
  2. Critics’ Choice Best Supporting Actor (Male)
  3. Critics’ Choice Best Supporting Actor (Female)
  4. Critics’ Choice Best Actor (Male)
  5. Critics’ Choice Best Actor (Female)
  6. Critics’ Choice Best Story/Script
  7. Critics’ Choice Best Cinematography
  8. Critics’ Choice Best Film

Popular Choice Award

 

The Popular Choice Awards will be decided by the audience in these categories:

  1. Popular Choice Best Poster Concept
  2. Popular Choice Best Scene
  3. Popular Choice Best Supporting Actor (Male)
  4. Popular Choice Best Supporting Actor (Female)
  5. Popular Choice Best Actor (Male)
  6. Popular Choice Best Actor (Female)
  7. Popular Choice Best Story/Script
  8. Popular Choice Best Cinematography
  9. Popular Choice Best Film
  10. Popular Choice Best Trailer Response from Social Media (already awarded to "Mayabi Ei Raatey" due to the overwhelming response to its trailer)
